Bob Seger and his band, the Silver Bullet Band, has postponed their remaining 2017 Runway Train Tour following the orders he received from the doctors for him to tend to a medical issue as related to his lungs.
After the delay, a few selected songs can be gotten off Spotify and some other streaming services. “Ï am sad to have to put the tour on hold as the band has had a perfect time so far” Seger shared on his website.”I consider it a tremendous honor to perform for our awesome fans. Hopeful about getting back out on tour very soon.”
No more info was shared about the rocker’s condition.
Tickets sold for the new date will be honored as soon as the events are rescheduled
Seger and his band commenced their Runway Train Tour in August, performing 13 shows before moving forward a September 30th event in Columbus, Ohio and then shutting down the rest of the schedule. October 5th is the new date set. Concert is to hold in Greenville, South Carolina and later to close on the 17th of November in Chicago.
While it remains vague the conditions Seger is managing; the bandleader discussed relentlessly fighting back pains when performing on stage in 2011 during an interview with Rolling Stone. “For the first time in my years of music, I’ll be sitting when I’m playing the guitar,” Seger said. “My back hurts. I play a couple of songs on the piano, but my back hurts worse when I do unusually. It’s strange all because it never occurred before. I think it’s just age. I’m advancing.”
