Linkin Park dropped a new music video about 9:01 a.m on the morning Chester Bennington died. The recent video to their song titled “Talking to Myself” features scenes of the rock band performing for the audience. Bennington reminisces his history with abuse of drugs from his wife’s perspective in the hit song.

Highlight of Bennington’s verse and chorus

He bounces in opening it with the lines “Tell me what I have got to do/ There is no getting through to you/ The lights are on but nobody is home” in the track. In the emotional chorus, he sings about talking to himself because his lady kept running away and turned into something else.

In an interview with a band member, Brad Delson, he said that there’s a fragility theme of life which details that what we have and what we take so dear can be taken away from us in a moment. He added that when one is faced with such existential challenges, it calls everything to order.

The band’s 7th studio album is titled “One More Light,” and “Talking to Myself” is the third track on the album. One More Light marks the band’s sixth time of taking the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart. Linkin Park and Machine Gun Kelly had already concretized plans to embark on a North American Summer tour which was meant to kick off on July 27.
