The new improved contract will keep the Italian manager with Chelsea until the end of 2019 and there is also an option for a year extension on the contract.

I am happy here – Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte told the official website of Chelsea, how happy he was to sign a new contract with the club. “I am happy that I have signed a new contract with the club. We have worked really hard in the first season and achieved an amazing feat, which makes me very happy and now we need to work harder to keep ourselves at the top.”

“The fans have been really supportive and I have always had a great time every time I stepped in the stadium and it is important that we keep it that way.”

Conte has reinforced his team with the addition of German player Antonio Rudiger who signed from AS Roma and Tiemoue Bakayoko. But he has not had much luck with finding a replacement for cast away striker Diego Costa who he told that his services would no longer be needed at the club.
