Brazil football icon, Ronaldinho has revealed his admiration and love for Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford after the pair met in a restaurant.

Marcus Rashford had dinner with the Brazilian legend that featured for both Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona where they had a little chat before posing for pictures.

Rashford wasted no time in putting up the picture on social media with the caption “Nice to sit down and chat with the king.”

While it was quite obvious that Rashford was in awe of the Brazilian legend. It seems he left a good impression on Rashford as he had some choice words for the player.
“He has quality as a footballer, besides being a good and humble person,” Ronaldinho wrote.

Ronaldinho last played active football in 2015 with Fluminense and has been out of action since then.
Rashford broke into the scene in the 2015/2016 season under Louis Van Gaal who gave him his big break against Arsenal where he scored a brace. He has also flourished well under Jose Mourinho and was instrumental to the team’s win in the Europa League.

It is expected that Rashford will play a huge part in Manchester United’s next season in spite of moves to bring in Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid. He made a total of 53 appearances in the first team last season.

Ronaldinho’s Old Trafford Debut

Ronaldinho is set to play in Old Trafford for the first time in his career. Although he was heavily linked to the club while he was at Paris Saint-Germain before he decided to move to Barcelona where he flourished.
