The Twilight star debuted her new look, a shaved head dyed platinum blonde, at the LA premiere for Personal Shopper, he new indie movie.
Stewart, 26, seemed to be in high spirits at the premiere as she joyfully made silly faces along with director of the film Oliver Assayas.
Stewart, who shot to extreme fame back in 2008 when she began starring in the Twilight films franchise, had previously dated Robert Pattison, her co-star, before splitting years later amongst news that Stewart had cheated on him with then-director of the film she had been working on, Rupert Sanders.
The accress, who used to deny dating Pattinson for four years and refused to discuss her personal life, recently revealed her coming out as gay because she states that it had ‘just seemed important’ and it ‘was an opportunity to surrender a bit of what was mine, to make even one other person feel good about themselves’.
In an interview with the Sunday Times, she had admitted how she kept her private dealings away from the public eye due to her desire to keep her own life ‘her own’. She mentioned that she despised the idea that ‘details of my life were being turned into a commodity and peddled around the world’.
‘If it didn’t seem like a relevant topic, like something that needed help, I would have kept my life private forever. But then I can’t walk outside holding somebody’s hand, as I’m followed everywhere. When I was dating Rob, the public was the enemy — and that is no way to live. It wasn’t this grand statement, “I was so confused! Now I’ve realized who I am!”,’ she included. ‘I have not been struggling.’
Stewart came out to tell audiences on Saturday Night Live last February that she is gay as she trolled Donald Trump for his series of insulting tweets towards her back in 2012, saying: ‘But Donald, if you didn’t like me then, you’re probably really not going to like me now because I’m hosting SNL and I’m, like, so gay, dude.’
