A new version of “Beauty and the Beast,” will appear on real-life version of the hit Disney film and its soundtrack.  Pop star Ariana Grande and singer John Legend will record the new version. “Beauty and the Beast” was composed by writer Alan Menken and lyricist Howard Ashman for Disney’s unique 1991 energized motion picture. The tune won two Grammys and the 1992 Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Angela Lansbury sang “Beauty and the Beast” as Mrs. Potts in the first film, with the tune later recorded as a pop two part harmony by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson for the motion picture’s soundtrack. Ron Fair will create Grande and Legend’s form.

“Stepping in the shoes of an Oscar and Grammy Award-winning classic is not small potatoes. But with today’s two greatest singers, John Legend and Ariana Grande, we are bringing the song back with a new school/old school fresh treatment that shows the soulfulness and power of what a great melody and lyric can inspire,” said Fair in an announcement.

Grande had indicated at the joint effort Tuesday on Instagram by labeling Legend and Beauty and the Beast in a photograph of herself in the studio. The film re-posted the photo on its authority Instagram account. Disney’s real to life Beauty and the Beast will star Emma Watson and Dan Stevens in the title parts. The motion picture co-stars Kevin Kline and Luke Evans, and opens in theaters March seventeenth.
